Do you know that you’re losing many potential customers daily without even realizing it?

Sounds like a weird question, I know. But it’s really not…

I was doing this exact thing for years. And I see it happening all around me still.

Plenty of businesses have grown by leaps and bounds after they figured out how to fix this tiny error that is costing them XYZ

In the next few minutes, you’ll know exactly what I’m talking about and why it’s crucial for you to avoid it at all costs.

So, let’s get into it.

Let’s start with an example…

I want you to imagine that you’re walking in a packed street…

In a crowd of people that nobody knows one another.

Now, in this crowd, you want to call a specific group of people, you want to grab their attention…

These people are your potential leads, they already have a problem and your offer can probably solve that problem for them.

So, they will pay you for that and they’ll buy it from you.

Because they want to solve their problems, right?

They just don’t know if your offer works for them and solves their problem.

                                      But Here's The Secret Question…

How will you grab their attention? How will you interrupt them and convince them to pay attention to you?

Well, one option is asking people one by one. But with thousands of people that’s hardly practical.

Or a better option is to simply shout their name!

If you shout their name they will look at you, won’t they?

This is the easiest way to make someone pay attention to you.

That’s the thing.

The thing is that we only sell to a specific group of people…

People who NEED our offer and our offer solves one of their current problems.

Imagine you sell car wheels to people in London…

In this case, you should target people who:

1. Live in London

2. Own a Car

People with these 2 characteristics are the first targets (However, I still recommend making it more specific, like finding people who are looking for new car wheels, etc)

So we need to narrow our target.

We only need to call people who need our offer and it fits their current situation.

I’ll give you another example:

Imagine you were a dog trainer you could theoretically sell to anyone that has a dog.

But let’s say your most profitable service is helping clients train their puppy to stop chewing on furniture and stop pooping in the house.

So instead of targeting every dog owner we focus on puppy owners.

The WORST way to reach those perfect clients is to put up an ad or a post saying something like:

===

Dan’s Dog Training

We train all dogs, all breeds, all ages to do anything.

Here’s a list of what we can do.

  • training your dog on how to fetch

  • training your dog on how to walk on a leash

  • training your dog on how to socialize with other dogs

  • training your dog on how to not break stuff when you’re out of the house

If you have a dog and you want to have it trained by us for anything, please call us at XXX

===

Do you see where the problem is?

It’s not tailored for your clients, they won’t genuinely think in their mind:

“Man, This is for ME! That’s exactly what I needed”

So, your potential leads have a desire or a problem that you can simply call to grab their attention.

After that, you walk them through your way to solve their issue and offer (Which are completely different discussions from this)

And Done, You got a sale.

Remember, that’s the response we want our perfect client to have:

“This is for me. This scratches my itch. This person gets what I’m dealing with.”

This is how you find these potential leads that will happily pay you…

Because you’re solving a specific problem and helping them get their desire.

So, don’t be afraid to stand out and tailor your message to your perfect client. There’s plenty of ways to do this and it’s doable for every single business, yours included.

If you want to know how we would do this in your business to hook your high-potential clients and increase your sales, get in touch with us today.
